Which pets is the Waggi tracker suitable for?
Dogs and cats from around 4 kg upwards. The tracker attaches to a suitable collar or harness.
How do I turn the tracker on and check its status?
Press the button to turn it on. Press and hold to check status — the light blinks twice: first for network, then for GPS. See the Light & Button Guide.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life depends on how the tracker is used — Live Mode and frequent location updates use more power. When your pet is in a safe zone, the tracker updates less often to save battery. The app alerts you when the battery is low.
Can I use one tracker with two accounts?
No — each tracker can only be actively registered to one account at a time.
App and features
What is Live Mode?
Live Mode shows your pet's position in real time — useful for finding them quickly. It needs a connected tracker, an active subscription, and network access. It won't run while the tracker is charging or during a walk.
What are virtual fences?
Safe zones you draw on the map, such as your home or garden. You'll get an alert when your pet leaves or enters a fence. Alerts are a convenience feature — don't rely on them as your only safeguard.
Why aren't my pet's steps recording?
Steps are calculated from your pet's location. Switch the tracker on and connect it via Bluetooth for accurate real-time data. Background walk tracking needs location permission set to "Always".
Is the wellness data veterinary advice?
No. Activity, sleep, and wellness scores are for general information only. Speak to your vet if you're concerned about your pet's health.
Subscription and billing
Why do I need a subscription?
Just like a smartphone, Waggi needs a data connection to send your pet's GPS position 24/7. The subscription powers the tracker's built-in SIM card so it works over cellular networks.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime in the app with a simple click and no additional costs. Your service continues until the end of the current billing period.
What happens if my payment fails?
Your subscription may be marked past due and cellular features may be paused until payment succeeds.
Account
How do I delete my account?
From the app's account settings. Your data — pet profiles, photos, and statistics — is permanently deleted within about 30 days and can't be recovered. Cancel any active subscription first, as deleting your account doesn't cancel billing.
How is my data handled?
See our Privacy Policy. We don't sell your personal data.
